Let’s rewind to a decade ago when I began to face a series of health challenges. Despite getting a full night’s sleep, I’d wake up feeling drained. My energy was nowhere to be found. Then came the joint pain, specifically painful bursitis in my hips. I remember the discomfort like it was yesterday. Eczema patches started to appear on my skin, and cystic acne made its home on my face, leaving behind a trail of scars.
I went from doctor to doctor, hoping to find an answer. Instead, I was told it was just bad genetics, that it was normal. They offered me creams for my skin, injections for the acne, and anti-inflammatories for the joint pain. At 26, amidst all these health issues, my OBGYN suggested that I shouldn’t delay having children due to my age.

Yet, I was far from feeling ready for a healthy pregnancy, let alone a healthy birth experience. I knew something wasn’t right, and I knew I had to take control of my health. It was time to get to the bottom of things, rather than just placing bandages on my health problems.
I immersed myself in research, reading and learning everything I could about our bodies and the impact of our everyday choices. It was then I discovered the profound effect of the food we consume on our overall well-being.
Slowly but surely, I started making changes to my diet. As I filled my plate with healthier options, I noticed a shift. The joint pain started to fade. The bloating, stomach pains, and cystic acne began to heal. It was like a breath of fresh air. It took time, but eventually, I felt strong and healthy enough to welcome a baby into my life at the age of 34. It was a joyous, healthy pregnancy and birth – a testament to my healing journey.
The path was far from easy, but it led me here, passionate and excited to help women on their fertility journeys. I want to be there for parents who strive to build a healthy environment for their children.

In my approach to wellness, I consider every aspect of your life. It’s not just about diet and exercise but also about managing stress, getting good sleep, and finding balance. I firmly believe that small, consistent changes can make a massive difference.
