This was such a heartbreaking and lovely read. A story that's engrossing and makes you think. There's race relations, teenage angst, the Richardsons who are the "perfect All American" family, Mia and Pearl who are nomads and live their lives on the road. Tensions rise between families and within families when a court case rocks their worlds. Life isn't so perfect anymore. I really recommend this book to everyone. Don't go into this thinking it's a thriller because it's not.
