The series just gets better with this second book! D.E. Night really has created such a fun series that sucks you in. 

This book picks up right where book one left off. Ivy has now discovered magical legacy and must fight to fulfill it while saving Croswald. Ivy really starts to grow into her own. I love that this series has a female heroine! The magical world is expanded and  I really loved the secret Town! It's a town in perpetual night, completely hidden from anyone who doesn't know the secret name of the town with blazing stars to light up their skies. I don't want to give too much away but I highly recommend this second installment!
