"In Gold Coast, Long Island, everything from the expensive downtown shops to the manicured beaches, to the pressed uniforms of Jill Newman and her friends, looks perfect. But as Jill found out three years ago, nothing is as it seems."
This book was just ok. Not bad but not good either. I normally enjoy any story about rich high school kids behaving badly but this one just didn't entertain. I thought this would be a fun murder mystery set on Long Island. One - does the author know anything about Long Island? There weren't many legit Long Island details a local would recognize so that was disappointing. Why emphasize Long Island as the location for this story when not much a real Long Island is included? Two - it's easy to figure out who the murder was from the beginning. It's very slow paced with not much happening.
