I know I’ve said it so many times, but smoothies really are one of my favorite breakfast options. Making one is just so simple and quick which is great Monday thru Fridays when I am trying to get out the door as quickly as possible.
Last week I shared some of my
anti-aging tips, and one of them was I added collagen into my everyday diet. I use an unflavored collagen that mixes well into almost any liquid, iced coffee, teas, and oatmeals but my favorite is adding it to my smoothies. So today I’m sharing one of my go-to smoothie recipes
I have many! If you love peanut butter and banana, you’ll love this collagen peanut butter banana smoothie.
Collagen Peanut Butter Smoothie
Easy breakfast smoothie using Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
- 1 small frozen banana
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 scoop Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup almond milk
I buy my Vital Proteins from Amazon, and one container lasts me a long time. I normally do one scoop a day, always in the morning. If I have hot tea at night, I might add a scoop of collagen to it.
