Macarons were from Boulangerie Première Moisson
Would I stay here again? Absolutely! The Marriott Chateau Champlain is in the perfect location, the train stop, Bonaventure, is right downstairs, there is parking, THERE IS A STARBUCKS IN THE LOBBY, the staff was lovely, and the views were gorgeous. But seriously, there was a Starbucks in the lobby and what more could I possible need? Here is where I ate in Montreal and the makeup I packed for my trip. Have you ever visited Montreal? Where have you stayed or where would you want to stay? This is not a sponsored post. The hubby and I paid for our own stay here and would spend our own money to stay here again.

Good info to keep on hand, as I was just talking about a trip to Montreal! Love your photos!
You should absolutely plan a trip there! It’s such a nice city
Montreal is such a beautiful city! So much rich history and so many things to do! Love your highlights.
It’s def up there on my list of favorite cities!
Montreal is on my list of must see places. I would stay here, very nice. Thanks for the post:-)
Never been to Montreal, need to take a trip. Your photos are beautiful, hope you enjoyed the macaroons!
The macarons were such a good treat!
Would love to go Montreal in winter! It looks like a fairy tale. Good thing you asked the clerk, gps are not to be trusted 😀
No they are not!
Can’t go wrong with a hotel that has gorgeous views. I like Marriott, they’re not too expensive but the rooms are clean, comfortable, and they do their best to make sure their rooms don’t look dated even if some are old. It’s my top choice when traveling with family and kids, and having a location in every city we go to makes finding a place to stay really easy. I’d definitely stay here should we go to Montreal. I love your photos btw, and those macarons, now I want some. 🙂
Im just heading to Montreal so his post is perfectly timed! It’s such a charming city!

What a wonderful post! I really want to go to Montreal, it seems so dreamy.
I’d love to check out Montreal! I’d most likely stay at the Marriott such as yourself, looks like a nice, clean, inviting place to enjoy a vacation!
I love the view & I haven’t been to Montreal before but it’s sooo weird seeing snow during the summer LOL
All that snow was there and this was the end of March!
Looks like such a gorgeous hotel from the inside out! Love the details you provided too. Will keep it in mind for my upcoming trip to Canada!
Someday I do hope to make it out to Montreal. It just feels almost otherworldly on this continent. And I am sure I will be checking into this hotel when I visit. Looks like you had a great time.
that’s exactly the kind of hotel I like to stay when visiting a city! I can’t really afford fancy designer rooms or luxury hotels. But I want a minimum of care and it has to be clean and well kept. Usually breakfast is a strong point for me choosing a place to stay!
Whenever I stay at Marriott, no matter the city, I’m never disappointed! Looks like you had an amazing stay!
I’ve been wanting to visit my neighboring country for quite a while now. Your photos of the hotel are really beautiful!! Glad you enjoyed your stay!

WOw, the hotel looks amazing, but I loved that view. Amazing, I think that makes every room perfect.
Montreal is an absolutely amazing place. I love Old Montreal. The cobblestone streets and unique buildings!
The photos are inviting me to be there right now.
This is a great article! I did my own blog post on Montreal a little while ago if you wanted to check it out 🙂 https://www.nicoleabowden.com/a-long-weekend-in-montreal/
I’ll go read it now! Thanks for sharing.
